OEM or ODM — the difference in practice
CHOOSING A MODELYou own the design
You send a complete tech pack: measurements, construction, fabric and trim specs. We build patterns to match, run the sample, and produce to the approved standard. Your label, your design, our floor.
We develop the design
You bring intent: a sketch, a mood board, a reference garment or a market direction. Our pattern room turns it into a wearable first sample and iterates with you until the fit and details are right.
Both, in one range
Most ranges mix the two: carry-over basics produced to your existing tech packs, and new styles developed from a sketch by our pattern room.
From pattern to packaging, branded as yours
PRIVATE LABEL DETAILSPatterns and grading. Every style gets its own pattern, and one pattern is used per production run — no re-drawing between sizes, no drift in the fit you approved.
Labels and packaging. Hangtags, care labels, woven labels, polybags and outer cartons can all be produced to your brand’s VI at a low minimum. Supply the artwork when you order and the cost is quoted in.
3D preview. For development work we can generate a 3D on-body effect video alongside the pattern — a paper pattern can be ready in as fast as an hour from an approved sketch — so a look can be reviewed before the physical sample is sewn.
Confidentiality. We sign NDAs. Drawings, samples and technical documents you send are used to produce your order only: never copied for a third party, never disclosed, never sold on.

Questions buyers ask before ordering
FAQWhat is the difference between OEM and ODM at your factory?
In OEM we produce to a tech pack you own — your measurements, construction and materials. In ODM we develop the design: you provide a sketch, reference garment or direction and our pattern room builds the first sample.
Do you sign NDAs and keep designs confidential?
Yes. We can sign an NDA, and the samples, drawings and technical documents you provide are used only for producing your order — never copied for a third party, never disclosed, never sold on.
Can you produce our own labels, hangtags and packaging?
Yes — hangtags, care labels, woven labels, polybags and outer cartons to your brand’s VI at a low minimum. Supply the artwork with your order and the cost is included in the quotation.
Can you work from a reference garment instead of a tech pack?
Yes. Bring the garment, or clear photos with the details you want changed, and we pattern from it and confirm fabric and trims with you before sampling.
Do you offer 3D sampling?
For development work we can generate a 3D on-body effect video alongside the pattern, which is useful for reviewing a look before a physical sample is sewn. Ask for it when you send the brief.
How much of the order is subcontracted?
Pattern making, cutting, sewing, finishing, pressing, inspection and packing all happen on our own floor in Guangzhou. Nothing is subcontracted out of sight.
What do OEM and ODM stand for in clothing manufacturing?
OEM means original equipment manufacturing: you bring the design or tech pack and the factory makes it. ODM means original design manufacturing: the factory develops the design from a sketch or a direction and you put your label on it. A half-ODM sits between the two, where the client adapts an existing block.
What is a private label manufacturer?
A private label manufacturer produces goods that carry your brand only — your woven labels, hangtags and packaging — and does not sell the same style under its own name. It is the opposite of buying stock that other retailers also carry.
What is the difference between private label and white label?
Both put your brand on the product. White label means an existing, unmodified product that several buyers can brand identically; private label means the product is developed or adapted for you, so you control fit, fabric and exclusivity.
Tell us what you want to make
Send a sketch, tech pack, mood board or a reference garment. We come back with pattern-making, a sample quote and a realistic schedule — and if you are not ready for bulk, sampling can be ordered on its own.
