Who orders these dresses
BUYERSA first collection
Three styles, no tech pack yet. A new label starts from sketches or reference photos, gets a first sample in about 3–5 days, and tests the market with about 50 pieces per style before committing to a full season.
A bestseller, restocked
The pattern and the approved sample stay on file, so a proven style is re-cut without re-development cost and without a second sampling round — the fastest, cheapest order a factory can run for you.
A modest capsule for the Gulf
Dresses cut longer, sleeved and lined for opacity, developed alongside Abayas in Nida and chiffon — one factory, one QC standard, one shipment to the Gulf.
What decides whether a dress works
THE DETAILS WE MANAGEFit at the bust, waist and hip. These three points decide how a dress reads on the body. They are set in the pattern and confirmed on the sample before the run is cut.
Fabric behaviour. A bias-cut satin and a structured crepe need different patterns and different finishing. We confirm the fabric first and pattern to it — not the other way round.
Linings, facings and closures. Invisible zips, plackets, hooks, covered buttons and linings are specified in the approved sample, along with the pressing method that keeps a hem flat.
From sketch to reorder
PROCESSStyle & fabric
Send the design and the fabric direction; we confirm lining and trims and quote sampling.
Sample
A first sample, fitted and revised until the drape and the fit are right.
Trial run
About 50 pieces per style to prove the market, cut to the approved sample.
Reorder in depth
Winners are reordered without re-development — the pattern and sample are already on file.
Questions buyers ask before ordering
FAQCan you make a dress from a photo or a reference garment?
Yes. Send the reference with notes on what you want changed, and we pattern from it and confirm fabric and trims with you before sampling.
How do you handle lining and opacity?
Lining choice is fixed in the approved sample — fully lined, partially lined, or unlined with facings — and opacity is checked under daylight and flash before the run.
Do you produce knit dresses as well as woven?
Yes, both. Knit and woven are different constructions with different machinery and finishing, and both run on our own floor.
Can you match a fabric we already use?
Send a swatch or the composition and weight. We match or come close from our Guangzhou sources and send options for approval before the bulk fabric order.
What is the smallest dress order?
A trial run can start from around 50 pieces per style, style and fabric dependent. Sampling-only orders are also possible.
How long does a dress order take?
Sampling time depends on the complexity of the style and on fabric availability. Once the sample is approved the bulk schedule is locked and reported stage by stage; during peak season we recommend booking your slot early.
Can you make plus-size and curve dresses as well as standard sizes?
Yes. Sizing is set by your size chart: we grade the pattern across the range you actually sell, including plus and curve grades, instead of producing one sample size and scaling it blindly. Send your size chart with the style and we sample the grades you need.
